CNC Resources

Here are some of the links to sites I found to be particularly useful when I was building my CNC milling machine.

Parts

Rockcliff MFG – I used their 4 axis electronics kit.
Dumpster CNC – Custom parts, couplers and anti-backlash nuts.
Enco – I got my milling bits from here, lost of great stuff

Plans

Rockcliff MFG – I used their build plans as well.

Software

Mill Control

Mach 3 – This is the software I use to control my machine

CAM Software

Vectric – This is the software I wish I could afford. It doubles as a CAD type program.
Mesh CAM – This is the software I will probably use for my CAM needs
LazyCAM – This is the software has a free version bundled with Mach 3

CAD Software

CadStd – This is the software I will most likely be using for my CAD needs
AutoCAD – I used this software extensively when I was a student in high school

Machine Add-ons

Touch Plate – How to add a touch plate to autoset the Z axis height, see it on YouTube
